# Pure Soul Yoga School > Pure Soul Yoga School is a traditional yoga school in Tapovan, Rishikesh — the "yoga capital of the world" — serving students since 2019. We are registered with Yoga Alliance USA as RYS 200, RYS 300, RYS 500, RCYS (Children's Yoga) and RPYS (Prenatal Yoga), and have trained 5,000+ students from 50+ nationalities. We run residential Yoga Teacher Training Courses (100, 200, 300 and 500 hours), specialised TTCs (Prenatal, Kids, Pranayama, Meditation, Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, Tai Chi Qigong), and yoga, Ayurveda and healing retreats in Rishikesh, Bali, Goa, Kerala and Nepal. Founded by Nanda Kumaraa (Master Gangesha), the school teaches traditional Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin and Kundalini yoga alongside pranayama, meditation, anatomy, philosophy and teaching methodology — with emphasis on understanding the "why" behind each posture, breath and teaching so graduates can teach authentically anywhere in the world. Courses are residential: accommodation (private or shared rooms) and sattvic vegetarian meals are included.
