The lasting impact of a teacher is the unshakeable positive belief they plant in a student’s heart.
A 500-hour yoga teacher training is the complete, master-level path to becoming a yoga teacher — combining the foundational 200-hour and the advanced 300-hour trainings in one immersive stay. You arrive as a dedicated practitioner (no prior certification needed) and leave eligible to register as an RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance USA — the highest standard teaching credential.
Your 58-day journey with us unfolds in three movements. First, the 200-hour foundation stage builds your base in practice and the essentials of teaching. Then comes a rest and integration week — time to let the learning settle, deepen your self-practice and explore Rishikesh. Finally, the 300-hour advanced stage takes you into subtler territory: advanced asana and pranayama, the bandhas, deeper philosophy and refined teaching methodology.
As with everything we teach at Pure Soul, the focus stays on the why behind every posture, breath and philosophy — so you graduate teaching from understanding, not imitation. On completing both stages and their assessments, you receive two certificates — your 200-hour and 300-hour — which together qualify you to register as an RYT 500 and teach anywhere in the world. Your final morning is the certificate ceremony, a celebration you will remember.
Your training follows the official Yoga Alliance structure of both credentials we hold — the RYS 200 and RYS 300 — delivered as two stages with a rest and integration week between them. Here is how your 58 days unfold:
For us, graduation is not the end of a course — it is the beginning of a lifelong journey. Every Pure Soul graduate keeps our support for life:
RYT-500 registration guidance — we help you complete your Yoga Alliance registration after graduation.
Career guidance whenever you need it — from your first classes to senior studio roles, workshops and retreats.
Our yoga internship program for graduates who want mentored teaching experience before stepping out on their own.
A lifelong alumni community — return for free satsangs, meditation sessions and spiritual gatherings whenever you visit Rishikesh.
Your teachers remain with you long after the final class.
For eight weeks, this is your home — a sanctuary that nurtures your peace, self-discovery and clarity. We know many international students worry about food and water over a long stay in India: all our meals are prepared fresh in a hygienic kitchen, filtered drinking water is available around the clock, and our cooks keep the spices gentle for sensitive stomachs. Vegan options are available daily, and any dietary needs are happily accommodated — just tell us in advance.

Choosing the 500-hour path means committing to the deepest journey we offer. Here's why students choose to take it with us:
