Certification & Assessment

  • Course completion includes written exercises, practical asana assessments, and teaching demonstrations. Upon successful completion, students receive their 200-hour certificate from our Yoga Alliance-registered school — making them eligible to register as RYT 200 and teach yoga worldwide.

Who Can Enroll: Eligibility & Requirements for 200 Hour YTTC Goa

Joining our 200-hour yoga ttc in Goa, you can step forward confidently into the world of yoga and become an aspiring yoga teacher. This training course is open to everyone with a genuine interest in deepening their yoga practice. To ensure a fulfilling experience you should meet the following criteria:

  • Open-minded and willing to explore new perspectives in yoga.
  • All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Basic English communication skills to participate confidently in sessions.
  • A level of fitness is beneficial so that you can participate in yoga sessions and other group activities.
  • If you have any serious medical injuries, consult a healthcare professional before enrolling in our training course.

Visa & Travel Help

  • We provide a visa invitation letter on request — for a 23-day course in India, most students use the e-Tourist Visa; check your country's requirements and we'll help with supporting documents.
  • Fly into Goa — Mopa Airport (GOX) is closest to Arambol (about an hour's drive), or Dabolim (GOI). Airport pickup can be arranged at extra cost; just ask when you book.
  • Batches run every month, all year round — October to March is Goa's golden season with warm days and calm seas; the June-September monsoon is quiet, green and dramatic.

How much does the 200-hour yoga teacher training in Goa cost?

The early-bird fee (booking 2 months in advance) is $1,570 for a private room or $1,460 for a twin shared room — regular prices $1,870 and $1,760. The fee covers your full 23-day residential stay: accommodation, three sattvic meals daily, all classes, the training manual and your certification. You reserve your seat with a 20% deposit.

When do batches start, and how long is the course?

A new batch begins on the 1st of every month, all year round, and runs to the 23rd — 23 days of full immersion by the beach in Arambol. Pick the month that suits you and book your seat.

Are visas and flights included in the price?

We wish we could cover everything, but unfortunately, visa fees, airplane tickets, and PCR tests (if required) are not included in the price. We do provide a visa invitation letter on request, and we're happy to help you with any information you may need to make your travel arrangements.

Is there an assessment or final exam in the training?

Yes—students are assessed through a combination of practicum teaching, theory quizzes, and module assignments. Final certification depends on attendance and performance.

Prerequisites

Preparation is the foundation of a life-changing yoga journey. Before joining any of our courses or retreats, please keep the following in mind:

  • Be self-motivated and self-disciplined to fully enjoy the course.
  • Progress comes from consistency, so every student is expected to follow the course guidelines closely to get the most out of their training.
  • To help you stay focused and energized, meat, alcohol, tobacco, and drugs are not permitted for the duration of the course.
  • Any violation of school rules may result in immediate dismissal from the course.
Student Code of Conduct

To keep the learning environment safe, respectful, and focused, all students are asked to follow these guidelines:

  • Maintain a clean and healthy lifestyle throughout your stay.
  • Alcohol, smoking, and other stimulants are strictly prohibited.
  • Planning to fast on a given day? Just let the kitchen chief know in advance so we can avoid food waste.
  • Treat teachers, fellow students, and staff with respect at all times.
  • Arrive on time for all classes, workshops, and sessions — punctuality helps everyone learn better.
  • Any books, maps, or resources borrowed from the school should be returned in good condition before you leave.
  • Student housing is reserved for enrolled students only; friends and relatives are not permitted to stay.
  • Full attendance is required for all scheduled classes and activities to gain the complete benefit of the training.
Refund Policy

An advance payment of 20% of the total course fee is required to confirm your booking. This amount is non-refundable; however, it can be adjusted toward a future date for the same program (within 12 months of your original start month). It cannot be adjusted or used in any other way.

  • Cancellations are accepted, but the advance deposit will not be refunded.
  • There's no separate cancellation fee — simply inform the school via email if you need to cancel.
  • If you're unable to attend for any reason, your deposit stays valid for the same program for up to 12 months from your original start date.
  • Please note: course dates can be changed only once.
