Frequently Asked Questions — Yoga Teacher Training in Kerala

How much does yoga teacher training in Kerala cost?

The 200-hour course is $1,350 (twin shared) or $1,450 (private room) at the early-bird rate when you book 2 months ahead — regular prices $1,450 and $1,550. The 300-hour runs $1,375-$1,500 early-bird. All fully residential with meals, materials and certification; seats reserved with a 20% deposit.

When do the Kerala trainings start?

A new batch begins on the 1st of every month, all year round — the 200-hour runs to the 23rd and the 300-hour to the 27th.

Is the certification recognised by Yoga Alliance?

Yes — the training is delivered by Pure Soul Yoga School, a Yoga Alliance-registered school (RYS 200 and RYS 300). Graduates register as RYT 200, and 300-hour graduates upgrade to RYT 500 — recognised worldwide.

What's the best season for a YTT in Kerala?

October to March is Kerala's finest stretch — warm, clear and green. The June-September monsoon is deep green and quietly magical, and batches run every month regardless.

Do I need a visa for India?

Most students use India's e-Tourist Visa, which comfortably covers a 23 or 27-day course. We provide a visa invitation letter on request and help with any supporting documents.
