You've completed your 200-hour training and tasted what it means to teach. Now it's time to go deeper.
A 300-hour yoga teacher training is the advanced course that builds on your 200-hour foundation — subtler techniques, deeper philosophy and more refined teaching skills. Completing it at a Yoga Alliance-registered school (RYS 300) like Pure Soul makes you eligible to upgrade your Yoga Alliance registration to RYT 500, the highest standard teaching credential.
Your training unfolds in the spiritual heart of Rishikesh, where the Ganga flows out of the Himalayas. As with everything we teach, the focus stays on the why behind each practice — so the advanced asana, pranayama and philosophy you learn become part of your own understanding, not just your notes. In a group of maximum 20 students, your teachers know your practice personally and help you develop your authentic teaching voice.
The course moves beyond a single style — advanced Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin, Kundalini and Restorative practice, the bandhas, advanced pranayama and yogic philosophy. It concludes with a structured assessment: written work, a practical asana test and a supervised teaching demonstration. On passing, you receive your 300-hour certificate — and with your existing 200-hour certification, you can register as an RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance.
Our syllabus follows the official Yoga Alliance RYS 300 structure of five Educational Categories. Of your 300 training hours, 270 are contact hours with your teachers and 30 are guided non-contact hours (reading and assignments) — with each category deepened well beyond its minimum according to our school's emphasis.
For us, graduation is not the end of a course — it is the beginning of a lifelong journey. Every Pure Soul graduate keeps our support for life:
At Pure Soul Yoga School, we believe that a peaceful surrounding and nourishing food are not just for our comfort, but they also set an important foundation for a true yogic journey. We know many international students worry about food and water in India — so all our meals are prepared fresh in a hygienic kitchen, filtered drinking water is available around the clock, and our cooks keep the spices gentle for sensitive stomachs. Vegan options are available daily, and if you have any dietary needs, tell us in advance.

At Pure Soul, the 300-hour is more than a certification — it's the stage of your journey where you find your authentic teaching voice. Here's why advanced students choose us:
