Course Styles

Yoga Styles You'll Learn In 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bali

Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga is called the mother of all yoga styles because it serves as the base for almost every other style of yoga. In hatha yoga, you are trained to balance body and mind through yoga postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques. Hatha yoga together represents the union of opposites by balancing the sun and moon energies.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a slow practice that focuses on dynamic styles of yoga. Unlike other forms of yoga, Yin yoga emphasises long-held poses that target deeper layers of the body such as ligaments and connective tissues. By holding yoga poses for extended periods, yoga students release tension, improve energy flow, and increase flexibility throughout the body.

Restorative Yoga

By its name, restorative yoga, it means it focuses on deep relaxation and recovery. Using the right props, such as blocks, fully supports students in each yoga pose, allowing the body and mind to fully release stress. Through restorative yoga training, you will learn to create a safe environment that guides students into meditative and relaxation states.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is known to be a powerful style of yoga that links breath with movement in a flowing sequence of postures. This yoga will increase your strength, endurance, flexibility and concentration. During yoga classes, you will gain experience leading students safely through each posture, regardless of skill level.

Vinyasa Yoga

The word “vinyasa” in Sanskrit means “to place specially,” referring to the deliberate sequencing of postures in harmony with the breath. Vinyasa Flow is practised worldwide as an energetic and meditative approach, offering both physical strength and mental clarity while maintaining a deep connection to the ancient roots of yoga. Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic style of yoga that focuses on connecting breath with movement.
